Traugott Friedrich STREICH (1845 - 1904) "Der Buchbinder" (the bookbinder) Two original lithographs from the collection entitled "Arbeitsstätten und Werkzeuge der wichtigsten Handwerker" published in Esslingen by the Schreiber publishing house in 1875. Beautiful specimens with margins, slightly browned and wavy, with the trace of the central vertical fold of binding rather pronounced and reinforced on the verso as well as a few minimal defects at the edges but overall in a good general state of conservation. Animated representation of a bookbinding workshop, where various types of editorial products are assembled and finished which are then displayed on the shelves; associated with a comprehensive iconographic repertoire of the necessary tools. Bibliography: Borst "Ein Stück Deutscher Kulturgeschichte - dem Verlag JFSchreiber zum einhundertfünfzigsten Geburtstag" Esslingen 1981.
